The 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, kicking off on January 10, was marked by a surge in investment commitments and announcements spanning diverse sectors. Tata Group, under the leadership of Chairman N Chandrasekaran, unveiled ambitious plans to establish a significant semiconductor fabrication unit in Gujarat's Dholera, with operations set to commence in 2024. The two-day summit witnessed Adani Group pledging a staggering ₹2 trillion ($24 billion) towards advancing green energy initiatives in Gujarat, contributing to the multitude of multi-billion commitments made during the event. Furthermore, Maruti Suzuki, Simmtech, and DP World shared their respective investment blueprints, underscoring Gujarat's escalating status as a prime investment destination.
