Affordable New Electric Luna Scooter Hits Indian Market with Starting Price of Rs 69,990

Affordable New Electric Luna Scooter : Today, Kinetic Green introduced the electric version of its Luna scooter, known as the E-Luna, with an initial price tag of Rs 69,990 (ex-showroom). Bookings for the E-Luna began on January 26, and Kinetic Green has already received more than 40,000 inquiries from potential customers for this electric two-wheeler.

Kinetic Green has set its sights on both urban and rural markets, with plans to sell 100,000 units of the E-Luna in the fiscal year 2025. The company asserts that the total cost of ownership for the E-Luna will be less than Rs 2,500 per month.

Kinetic Green stated that the E-Luna is entirely designed and engineered within India and boasts a payload capacity of 150kg. Equipped with a 2.2kW BLDC mid-mount motor and an IP67-rated 2kWh lithium-ion battery, this electric two-wheeler features fast-charging battery technology and offers swappable battery options.

The E-Luna boasts a claimed range of 110km on a single full charge, coupled with a top speed of 50kmph. Its battery can be fully charged in approximately four hours. Additionally, Kinetic Green has stated plans to offer 1.7kWh and 3.0kWh battery pack options for the E-Luna in the future.

The E-Luna is constructed on a dual-tubular, high-strength steel chassis, featuring telescopic forks at the front and riding on 16-inch wheels. Additionally, it is equipped with a combi-braking system for enhanced safety and control.
