Captain Miller Trailer: Dhanush Takes on the British as a Wanted Dacoit in this Intense Drama. Watch Now.
The creators unveiled the dynamic trailer for the upcoming movie "Captain Miller," starring Dhanush and Priyanka Mohan, this Saturday. The film is scheduled for release on January 12.
Before Arun Matheswaran's "Captain Miller" hits the screens on January 12, the film's trailer has been unveiled by the creators. Featuring Dhanush in the lead role, the movie boasts a stellar cast, including Priyanka Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, Vinoth Kishan, Nassar, and Edward.
The 2-minute-54-second trailer provides a sneak peek into the universe of Captain Miller. It reveals that the film unfolds in pre-independent India, with the British in authority, portraying Dhanush's character as a perceived criminal, a dacoit.
Dhanush takes on the role of Easa, a regional rebel leader engaged in the resistance against the colonization of his village. A revealing dialogue suggests that his character's demeanor is contingent on the behavior of others. The plot revolves around a valuable treasure protected by the locals in his village, which becomes the target of the British who seek to plunder it.
In addition to Dhanush's character, the trailer offers glimpses of the supporting roles played by Shiva, Priyanka, Sundeep, and Vinoth. It skillfully provides sufficient information without revealing too much. "Captain Miller" features music composed by GV Prakash Kumar, cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni, and editing by Nagooran Ramachandran. Although the script was written in 2018, Dhanush only gave his approval to the project in 2020. Set in the
1930s, the film draws inspiration for its title from Tom Hanks' "Saving Private Ryan" (1998).
