India lost to Pakistan in the Under-19 Asia Cup as Azaan Awais' century, following Jeeshan's four-wicket haul, secured the win for Pakistan.

In the U-19 Asia Cup clash between India and Pakistan in Dubai, the Indian team faced a resounding defeat at the hands of Pakistan. The Indian youth team suffered an 8-wicket loss as they posted a total of 259 runs, losing 9 wickets in their allotted 50 overs. In response, Pakistan comfortably chased the target, losing only two wickets. Mohammad Jeeshan showcased a strong bowling performance for Pakistan, while Azaan Awais contributed with an impressive century.


In this Group-E encounter, Pakistan's captain Saad Beg won the toss and opted to bowl first. The Indian opening pair had a slow start, losing their first wicket in the 9th over with a total of 39 runs. Arshin Kulkarni (24) fell victim to Amir Hasan. Shortly after, Rudra Patel (1) also departed, dismissed by Mohammad Jeeshan.


From there, Adarsh Singh and captain Uday Sharan forged a partnership, adding 93 runs in 120 balls for the third wicket. The Indian team seemed well-placed at this point.
